The mythical Avet course in Soldeu is filled with light to mark the candidacy of the Andorra 2027 World Championships
The communication campaign reaches the middle of the promotion process for the candidacy with the celebration of a night show that includes a lit ski run with children, a ski exhibition, a demonstration of snow-grooming machines, LED projections, and fire

Andorra la Vella, Tuesday 4 January 2022.

The mythical Avet course in the Soldeu sector of Grandvalira was lit last night with a nocturnal show aimed at families to mark the candidacy for the Andorra 2027 Alpine World Ski Championships. The event coincides with the halfway point of the promotion period for publicizing the project for the most important sporting event in the history of Andorra. The play of lights with the World Cup course as the stage reflects the communication campaign "It's time to light the stars up again".

A total of 150 participants, including children and adults, took part in the lit ski run that was complemented with a ski demonstration by the Demo Team of the Grandvalira Ski and Snowboard School, an LED projection, an exhibition of a large part of the snow-grooming machines, and fireworks. From the base of the Soldeu platform, it was possible to observe the show that took place on the Avet, Bosc Fosc and Ós courses.

The process of promoting the candidacy will continue with new events in the resort and in the country's schools, coinciding with World Snow Day, on 16 January.
